Dr. Eric Nunnally is a proud Louisville native and a 1996 graduate of Atherton High School. He went on to earn his degree from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2013. Before becoming a dentist, he built a strong foundation in the dental laboratory industry, graduating from Dental Laboratory School in 1999 and earning the only two advanced technician designations in the field: Certified Dental Technician and Certified Technologist.

Since graduating from dental school, Dr. Nunnally has continued to expand his skills and integrate advanced technologies, all in pursuit of his vision to build one of the most sophisticated, compassionate, and comfortable dental practices in Louisville. Throughout his career, he has earned numerous credentials, including certifications in sports dentistry, implant dentistry, and dental technology.

 In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Nunnally is a respected educator. He lectures on dental implant surgery, advanced bone grafting, and complex restorative procedures. He serves as a Key Opinion Leader for several dental companies and was selected as Clinical Director for Jacksonville University’s Dental Implant Residency Program. He also spent five years as Co-Director of the Midwest Implant Institute in Columbus, Ohio, where he trained dentists in hands-on surgical implant procedures. 

Though he practices general dentistry, Dr. Nunnally is a board-certified implant specialist. In 2015, he launched Louisville Dental Implants, a specialty division dedicated to excellence in dental implantology.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Nunnally enjoys golfing, skiing, and cheering on the University of Louisville athletics. He takes great pride in the trust his patients place in him and is committed to delivering the highest level of care to every member of his patient family.
